Opening in July, Comfort@Meldon Park offers the same superb cooking as our Newcastle Upon Tyne restaurant, but in the outstandingly beautiful and tranquil setting of Meldon Park, owned by James and Emily Cookson. Enjoy strolling through the Victorian Kitchen Garden, or browsing in the Kitchen Garden shop before you sit down to dishes that feature the best regional produce from the North East from our handpicked group of local farms and suppliers, including seasonal produce grown by Mrs Cookson in the Kitchen Garden itself. Our short, seasonal menu is complemented by an outstanding wine list, including a range of fine local beers. We also offer one of the finest Sunday Lunches in Northumberland Ideal for family days out for either lunch or afternoon tea, as well as for romantic dinners, this unique venue is also available by arrangement for hire for corporate dinners and private parties, as well as larger functions.
